Method
- Begin with boredom. Sit with it on purpose. The phone is not the answer.
- When something flickers — anything — name it. Even badly. Naming gives it a shape it can grow into.
- Walk. Don't think about the idea. Trust the unconscious to keep cooking.
- Read it back in the morning, when your brain is still wet.
- Run it past an agent. Let it argue. Keep what survives.
- Wait one more sleep. Strange ideas that stay strange after sleep are the ones to chase.
